Hi Steve!

I have been thinking the past tense of READ and WRITE... But I am not that sure if the following I wrote are correct.

WRITE:
present- write
PAST-WROTE
future-write

READ:
present-read
PAST-READ
future-read

You got it all right!

I only want to point out that the past tense of read is pronounced like "red"

I think you already know, but wanted to mention it just in case.

Only grammar correction in your post is the above. It should say:

"I have been thinking about the past tense of READ and WRITE..."

Yes it pronounced "RED", that made me confused. That was the reason why I have asked you.

The past tense is read, which is pronounced red.

The past tense of write is wrote.
